Peterborough, NH January 12, 2012June J. Adams 79, of Peterborough, died January 12, 2012 at the Pheasantwood Nursing home. She was born in Fredericksburg, VA on may 27, 1932 to parents Opal (Poates) and H. Mitchell Jones. June lived in Wellesley, MA for eighteen years before moving to Stoddard, NH in 1994. She moved to Peterborough in 2004 and resided there with her loving husband John H. Adams.She enjoyed playing bridge, reading and spending time outside playing golf. And most of all spending time with her family.June is survived by her husband John H. Adams of Peterborough, 2 sons John Adams of Littlesilver, NJ; D. Hunter Adams of Framingham, MA, 2 daughters Valerie Ross of Rindge; Susan LeClaire of Peterborough. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Her funeral will take place on Monday January 16 2012, at the All Saints Church in Peterborough, beginning at 2 PM. Reverend Sara Robbins-Cole, will officiate. A private burial will follow for the family. Jellison Funeral Home, Peterborough is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Monadnock Food Bank, 51 Concord St. Peterborough.
