When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one. We will be happy to go over all your options and answer any questions that you may have.  

Many people are unaware of all the service options that are possible with cremation. Our staff will help you decide on the type of gathering or ceremony, if any, that will best suit you and your family's wishes. We will assist you with choices of final disposition such as burial of the cremated remains, scattering, placing them in a niche, or keeping them at home. 

 Listed below are examples of the cremation services available to you and what they include. 

 Traditional Funeral with Cremation 

  • Transfer from place of death to funeral home 
  • Sanitary care as required by state law (48 hours) 
  • All crematory transportation costs 
  • Filing and retrieving necessary permits and documents 
  • Acquiring  certified death certificates as requested by the family 
  • Assistance with drafting an obituary and submitting to selected newspapers Placement of obituary on Jellison Funeral Home web site (free of charge) 
  • Visitation hours at our facility, the urn may or may not be present 
  • Ceremony at church, our facility, graveside or other location 
  • Burial of urn at selected cemetery or urn returned to family 

Simple Cremation​ 

  • Cremation only services; no memorial/visitation/burial 
  • Transfer from place of death to funeral home 
  • Sanitary care as required by state law (48 hours)

Funeral Services

 Memorial Service (casket not present)

We carry many choices in caskets for earth burial and cremation. You can choose from steel in a variety of gauges and beautiful colors, solid wood, wood finishes, and economical containers. We also offer a variety of interior fabrics and colors. Prices range from $275 to $6,990. 

For those choosing cremation, we offer a wide variety of urns, from skattering tubes to cloisonne, to solid and man-made marble to sheet bronze and a variety of woods, priced from $75 to $925. There are also many keepsakes available, including lockets and keepsake miniature urns. 

Vaults and grave liners prevent the ground from sinking onto the casket or urn. Most cemeteries in this area require the use of vaults or grave liners for casket burials. We carry a full selection of Wilbert burial vaults and grave liners: 

  •  Burial vaults and grave liners for caskets range in price from $1,100 to $3,950. 
  •  Urn vaults and liners range in price from $325 to $1,050.

Creating a unique and personal experience is an important part of saying goodbye to a loved one. At Jellison Funeral Home, we have created a variety of unique ways to add special and personal touches to the service. 

 Photo Galleries & Memory Tables 

These are available to every family, and are a way to bring a personal touch to a visitation or service through the power of your photographs and personal items. Simply position your photos and memorabilia on a collage-type display for family and friends to see. Many find solace and comfort in seeing the photos of and items belonging to their loved one. A large screen television is available for digital displays.  

Personal Wall Hangings 

Our chapel and visiting rooms are tastefully decorated with wall hangings. However, we encourage you to replace those decorations with your own personal wall hangings, artwork and photos to personalize the experience for everyone attending the visitation. 

 Custom Memorial Cards 

For a minimal fee, we can create a memorial card for each attendee that includes the name, birth and passing date of the deceased, and a prayer, poem or quote of your choice. 

 Online Obituaries Complete with Guest Books 

Jellison is proud to offer our clients an online obituary and guest book service. Family and friends can visit our web site to read an online obituary and write a personal message in the guest book. The obituary and personal messages will be available on the Jellison Funeral Home web site for many years.
