Bruce Edward Burke

Bruce E. Burke, 65, of Peterborough, passed away at Monadnock Community Hospital after a lengthy illness, on October 11, 2018.   He was born in Portland, ME on December 11, 1952 the son of Charles and Rose (Ratte) Burke.

Bruce had two passions; one for classic and antique cars and another for animals. He never lost his sense of humor throughout his sickness. He worked for Trumpf Inc. for many years as an engineer and plant manager.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, Barbara (Kace) Burke of Peterborough, Bruce was the proud father of two sons, Michael of South Elgin, IL and David of Laconia, NH. He also had two grandchildren, Conor and Kylie of Illinois. He is also survived by a host of relatives throughout New England. In particular, Mr. and Mrs. William Burke of Tuftonboro, NH who he greatly respected and appreciated their guidance along the way. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Steven.

Bruce will be sadly missed by his family along with all who knew him.
