Kathryn Query, 91, of Peterborough and formerly of Hancock, died on January 25, 2018 at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough.
Kathryn was born in Lewiston Maine on July 18, 1926, the daughter of Charles Turner and Eva (Casper) Turner. She married her true love Henry “Hank” Query, who died in 2003. Early on she worked for a number of years as a hostess on the railroad, and once retired from the railroad, she worked for Dr. Miner’s Dental office as his bookkeeper.
She cherished her life in Hancock where she spent time tending the property and caring for various animals that she loved so much. She was an artist who enjoyed painting scenes and nature. She was a member of Renew Church in Hancock, where she made many friends.
A Celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held on February 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Renew Church, 53 Elmwood Road, Hancock, NH.
Kathryn will be buried in the spring, with her beloved husband, at Norway Plain Cemetery, Hancock, NH.
