Alexis Ann Dantas

September 28, 2004 — September 28, 2025

Alexis Ann Dantas, 21, of Ashburnham, MA passed away tragically and unexpectedly on her 21st birthday. She was born in Keene, NH on September 28, 2004 to Cheryl and Brian Newcomb. She happily called Peterborough, NH her home for 15 years, before moving to Ashburnham, MA. During that time, she was involved with chorus, theater, Girl Scouts, dance and softball. She made a lasting impression with all who knew her.

Alexis will always be remembered as a strong, loving and honest (sometimes sassy) woman, who loved her family more than anything. Her memory will forever live on through her family, especially her newborn twin boys. She was a loyal wife and loving mother, both roles fulfilling her greatest dreams in life. She was a wonderful mother and loved every moment she had with her sweet boys. Alexis was an avid animal lover, especially Sloths. Those close to her will always remember and appreciate her fun collections of blankets, crocs, socks, sweatshirts and painted rocks.

Family was so important to Alexis, and she was always finding a way to relate to those in her life. Her favorite place was the beach, and you could find her in the water every visit, even if it was freezing cold! She will be fondly remembered with every beautiful sunset.

Alexis was predeceased by her Mother, Cheryl Newcomb. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Dantas, her children Matteo and Tobias Dantas, her father Brian Newcomb (Brandon, FL), her sister and brother-in-law Ashley & Joshua Pasanen (Antrim, NH), her brother & sister-in-law Tyler and Victoria Newcomb (Lake Alfred, FL), her brother-in-law Douglas Dantas (Ludlow, MA), her mother & father-in-law Renata and Xavier Dantas (Ludlow, MA), grandparents Nancy & Paul Seguin (Palm Bay, FL), Grandmother Judy Wedge (Great Falls, MT), many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Services will be scheduled and announced soon.
