Annaliese Goodwin, affectionately known as Anna, passed away after a sudden illness at her home on August 14th, 2025. She was born in Peterborough on April 8, 1981. She was the daughter of Richard Goodwin and Corrine (Clark) Tometich.
She is survived by her father and mother, her paternal grandmother, Tina Goodwin, her beloved Aunt Heidi, and Uncle, Terry, as well as her cousins, Justin Flagg and Alicia Parenteau, and her Aunt Martha, and extended maternal family. In addition to her family, she is survived by her lifelong partner and best friend, Chad Lohmiller of Hancock.
Anna is reunited with her big brother Ian, her dog Jedi, also her maternal grandparents Thatcher & Cora, as well as her paternal grandfather Richard, as well as many, many friends.
Anna had a deep love for nature, especially her gardens, where she found peace and joy. She was a talented cook who shared her creativity and care through beautiful meals, and she delighted in flowers, fall, and Halloween traditions. A devoted animal lover, she shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Jedi.
She was artistic, stylish, witty, and magnetic—someone who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She enjoyed snowboarding, camping by the river - her “happy place”, fishing, the ocean, and celebrating life with friends and loved ones. She had a strong passion for books, especially Stephen King novels.
A celebration of Annaliese's life will be announced soon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (Make-A-Wish America).
