It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne (Carasimas) Willette, 100, of Bedford, NH. She departed peacefully while surrounded by her family on the morning of July 26, 2026. Anne was born on September 7, 1925, in Lynn, MA, to her parents Arthur and Athena (Stathouli) Carasimas who were born in Greece. Through her journey of 100 years, she touched many lives with her wisdom, love and outpouring of generosity to her family and friends in her home and community.
Anne attended the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, in Lynn, MA and maintained a deep faith throughout her life. She loved learning and held a strong conviction by reporting often to people that “where there is a will there is a way”. Anne attended Northeastern University and Salem State College obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She was employed by General Electric Company in the Engineering Department working closely with her colleagues as an Engineering Data Analyst. Upon her retirement she received an award recognizing her “Loyal Service for the many contributions made during her distinguished career”. She was so proud of how this honor expressed her approach to everything she did in her life.
Anne was the wife of the late Raymond Frederick Willette who passed in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Carolanne Sargavakian, of Bedford, and her adopted daughter Mary FitzPatrick of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Carrie Sargavakian and husband, Lance Evitt, of Portland Oregon, Emily Sargavakian Allumbaugh and husband, Ross Allumbaugh of Hampton, NH, Kenny Sargavakian, and wife, Becky Sargavakian of Southbury, CT, and Robert Sargavakian and wife, Lauren Sargavakian, of Winthrop, MA. Anne is also survived by six Great Grandchildren, Jackson Allumbaugh (20), Ozzie Allumbaugh (19), Harrison Allumbaugh (16), Kelsey Sargavakian (11), Carson Sargavakian (8), and Stella Sargavakian (2). Anne’s family was the greatest joy of her life!
One of Anne’s biggest passions, was cooking and baking. She loved the holiday seasons so she could try a new recipe for the family or repeat a favorite recipe which family and friends looked forward to consuming. She believed in helping people in her community and had an open-door policy at dinner time…. anyone was welcomed to join the family for dinner. Some of her favorite hobbies were completing puzzles and word searches, sewing, decorating for the holidays and reading the Boston Globe.
Anne’s remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of an indomitable spirit enthused with curiosity, resilience and a strong faith in God! She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Anne’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH 03458. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
