Peterborough, New Hampshire - Barbara Ann Quinlan, 76, died suddenly on May 25, 2014. Barbara was born on November 25, 1937, in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Jean (Stewart) and Herbert E. Robinson. She was a longtime resident of Peterborough and Hancock, New Hampshire. Barbara earned her Emeritus Status from the National Association of REALTORSA® in 2013 for her 40 years of service and dedication to the REALTORA® organization. She worked at several firms during her career, including her own firm; The Quinlan Realtors, in Hancock and Peterborough. She spent the last twenty years at BH&G The Masiello Group, in Peterborough. She enjoyed her family, a local book club of friends, cooking, and especially travel. She loved every aspect of her world travels, from the planning and researching, to the journals she compiled, which have been enjoyed by many. She is survived by six children: Robert G. Quinlan, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Antrim; Pamela Q. Doyle of Keene; Leslie Q. LaRoche of Peterborough; Darla Q. Phagan of Northport, Florida; Dawn Q. Youngs and her husband Richard of Tempe, Arizona; and Wendy Q. McDermitt and her husband Gary of Wesley Chapel, Florida. She is also survived by her brother Herbert E. Robinson, and his wife Barbara; and her sister, Margaret R. Brown and her husband Anthony; 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Terri E. Quinlan, in 1982. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, from 6 to 8 PM, at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 30, at 1:00 PM, at Union Congregational Church, Concord Street, Peterborough. Burial will be private for the family at Hillside Cemetery, Hancock. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her name may be made to www.nhptv.org; Peterborough Town Library or www.mapsnh.org.
