Obituary

Diane Keegan Curran, born October 28, 1938, in Montpelier, Vermont, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at RiverMead Assisted Living in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

Diane was predeceased by her first husband, Myer Goldman, in 1974, owner of the Village Pharmacy in Peterborough, and her second husband, Charles Henry Curran, in 2006.

Diane graduated from Middlebury College in 1960 with a degree in Music and earned a Master’s degree in Art History from Boston University. She worked as an art history instructor at the Well School in Peterborough, served as assistant to the curator at the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, and helped coordinate Peterborough’s Bicentennial celebrations in 1976.

After the death of her first husband, Diane moved with her children to Brookline, Massachusetts, where she worked at the Women’s Educational and Industrial Union. In 1999, she and Charles settled in Francestown, New Hampshire.

Diane was known for her warmth, curiosity, and adventurous spirit. She loved museums, historical sites, and travel, and cherished her many visits to Israel and time spent with family there.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff of RiverMead Assisted Living for their kindness and attentive care, and donations in Diane’s memory may be made to RiverMead.

Diane will be laid to rest beside her husband, Charles H. Curran III, at Francestown Cemetery #3, Francestown, New Hampshire.
