Eve Meiklejohn Anderson Stone of Peterborough, NH, and Grafton, MA

Eve Stone died peacefully on July 10 in her home at RiverMead in Peterborough, NH.

She leaves her children, Blake and Nina Anderson of Dublin, NH, and Forbes and Candace Anderson of Vero Beach and West Falmouth, along with four grandchildren and their spouses, whom she dearly loved.

Eve was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Lewis Stone, her parents, Frazer and Mary Meiklejohn, her brother Andrew, and her many beloved dogs.

She leaves her former husband and friends Gilbert and Gloria Anderson of Peterborough, as well as the many children of her Grafton and Bancroft School extended families and friendships at All Saints and The Garden Club of Dublin.

We remember with thanks her neighbors and all the wonderful caregivers at RiverMead. We are grateful for the gentle care Eve received from her hospice friends.

Bancroft School and its Hope Graham Program for reading were dear to her.

Remember Eve when you see a lovely flower arrangement, hear a piano, or smell a batch of molasses cookies in the oven.

A family burial service will be held in the fall.
