Faith Anne Lloyd, 85 of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at Monadnock Community Hospital on September 15, 2025. She was born in Peterborough on July 11, 1940, the daughter of Lloyd and Rhoda (Leathers) Cochran.
Faith lived most of her life in Greenfield. She loved the Lord and was an active member of the Greenfield Congregational Church for many years. Using her professional skills, she served there as bookkeeper, administrative assistant, treasurer, Chair of the Worship Committee and the list goes on.
Being a quiet, small-town girl didn’t keep her adventurous spirit from experiencing the world, though! She loved her time working for Byte Publishing/McGraw Hill in Reprints and Permissions, meeting with people from all around the globe. Two of her biggest adventures were her trip to Israel with the church where she got baptized in the Jordan River, and her time spent in Wales, where she met (and married) her partner in adventure David Lloyd.
She loved the ocean, her flower gardens, getting up early and spending quiet time in prayer. Though Faith experienced much hardship in her life, she was strong and resilient and kept her tender heart filled with love for her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Faith is survived by her husband David Lloyd, her son, Curtis Ferry of Greenfield, her daughter Amy Hardwick and her husband David of Bennington, her grandchildren and their spouses, Heidi, David Jr., Marilyn, Luke, Jeremiah and Julie her great grandchildren Ivan, Ezekiel, Bjorn, Cora and Otto. She is pre-deceased by her grandson Daniel Fluhr, her daughter Julie Blanchette, and Julie’s husband Dale Blanchette.
A memorial service will be held at the Greenfield Congregational Covenant Church on October 5, 2025 at 2:00 in the afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Faith’s name to the Greenfield Congregational Covenant Church.
