Peterborough, NH
Larissa Ann Zyck, 31 of Peterborough, died on January 22, 2018. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on October 28, 1986, she moved to Bennington, NH with her family in 1998. She graduated from Conval High School in 2004 and later pursued a nursing degree. She worked for many years at the Kennedy Information Center in Peterborough and Keene.
Even as a child Larissa was bubbly, curious and out spoken. She was creative and had great ingenuity. As a young woman Larissa was vivacious as she radiated joy and kindness from inside and out. She had a way of touching people to their core as she brought light into everyone’s lives. She always brought new and exciting possibilities to life. She was a talented writer, and loved drawing, painting, and nature. She loved her family very much and if you were lucky enough to be her friend, you were her family too. She would do anything for anyone in need, and never wanted anything in return. Her smile when she saw you happy was enough, as her smile could of sailed a thousand ships.
Graham Enman wrote of her “ Her heart was so big, Her hugs were hard, Her voice sweet, and her laughter was all around contagious.”
Another friend said “ She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines, she was beautiful for the way she thought, she was beautiful for that sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even when she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks, she was beautiful deep down to her soul.”
She is survived by her loving mother Naomi Kroposky-Zyck, Naomi's partner Richard Turner, brother, Roman Darius Zyck, and Darius's wife Tessa Marie Zyck, their two boys Holden and Sterling Zyck, (she always giggled that they had her nose), her loving uncles John and Jack Shelley, her aunt's Ann Curtis and Diane Zyck, and her cousins Marah and Bhakti. There are many family and friends that are too numerous to count. She was predeceased by her father Roman J Zyck, her grandmothers Maryann Kroposky and Anna Zyck, and grandfather Roman Zyck.
Her light will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.
