Seth Fowler, the son of Geoff and Kathy Fowler of Antrim and the late Joi Hodge Fowler of Hancock, tragically passed away in car accident on Tuesday, October 7th with two of his close friends.
Seth attended school in Antrim and graduated from Conval High School in 2024. He had many lifelong friends that he met starting at t-ball at age 4 and continued to play youth soccer and lacrosse with many of them. He was blessed to have had some great coaches through the years to help shape him into the young man he became. Seth was a 4-year varsity lacrosse player at Conval where he was awarded the Rising Star his freshman year. He loved hanging out behind the net to thread the needle to his teammates so they could score. In the early years he learned to use his small size as an asset to help his team, and he was not afraid to take a hit to get the penalty advantage for his team.
Seth followed in his older brother’s footsteps where he could be found at skate parks learning to master skills on his scooter and skateboard and in high school, shooting some hoops with friends. He also enjoyed riding his dirt bike and snowmobile at the family camp in Stewartstown, NH. He was a staple at Crotched Mountain on his twin tip skis each winter. He was blessed to have traveled and seen some amazing places in his short time on earth including a trip to New Zealand with his family as well as trips to Colorado, Wyoming and Montana to visit Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. He enjoyed hiking and often would head out any night of the week to get some pictures of amazing sunsets with friends.
Since graduating high school, Seth had been an apprentice at Fowler Automotive and Fowler Fabrication and Design in Greenfield, NH. He worked side by side with his father and brother, Josh, to learn valuable trade skills and the work ethic that it takes to run a successful business.
He is survived by his parents, Geoff and Kathy Fowler, his four brothers, Dan Fowler, Josh Fowler and his fiancé Hayley Thyne, of Antrim, Keith Lehrman and his wife Talia Rokes of Deering and Dylan Hodge of Barrington, NH; his sister, Jennifer Lehrman and her partner, Collin Hooper of Bow, NH; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Fowler of Palm Coast, FL and his maternal grandparents Glen and Marjorie Hodge of Hancock, NH. He is also survived by so many close friends including among them Brody Edmunds and Briar Bethel who joined him on sports teams and many travel, hiking and camping adventures. He also leaves behind so many friends, teachers, teammates and Moms of his friends whose hearts he made an impact on. He was an amazing soul.
Seth was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Hugh Fowler and his birth mother, Joi Hodge Fowler and we can only imagine the welcome she gave him when he joined her.
The family has established a scholarship fund to support youth pursuing a career in the trades. In lieu of flowers or food support, please consider donating to the Seth Fowler Memorial Fund at any Bank of New Hampshire location or online at Spotfund.com.
A celebration of life for Seth will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2 – 5 p.m. at the Monadnock Country Club, 49 High Street, Peterborough.
