Andrea Kierstead

Andrea Kierstead, age 61 of Peterborough, passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family, at her home on May 12, 2023.  She was born in Galion, OH on July 20, 1961, the daughter of Antonio and Phyllis (Helfrich) Marcellino.

Although Andrea was born in Ohio, she moved to NH at a young age and spent her life living in the Monadnock Region. Andrea had a love and passion for gardening, baking and the outdoors. Andrea made sure she raised her sons in an outdoor setting. Whether farmers markets or gardening, she was always connected with the community also working for a time at Summerhill Assisted Living and then MacDowell Artist Colony.

Andrea is survived by her father Antonio Marcellino, her two sons, Myles Forrest and Tomas Kierstead, as well as her brother Cary Marcellino and sister Karen Sirimoglu.   

A Celebration of Andrea’s life will be held Saturday June 3rd from 1-4 pm at the Hancock Depot.
