Danielle Carroll Phillips

Danielle Carroll Phillips, 45, of Hancock (formerly of Nashua) passed away suddenly on February 4, 2021 surrounded with love from her fiancé, Derek McFarland.  She was born in Memphis, TN on April 3, 1975 to the late Howard and Martha (Carroll) Phillips. 

Danielle attended Nashua schools where many of her lifelong friendships began.  Throughout her life, Danielle found comfort and solace in her many friendships and more often than not, she would depend on these friends to see her through the many struggles she endured and the milestones she celebrated.  Danielle has proven time over time, you do not have to be blood to be family, and that is how she lived her life;  She surrounded herself with the people who meant the most to her and who loved her in return.

Danielle is survived by the love of her life, Derek McFarland, of Hancock NH, who have shared all of life’s ups and downs over the past 12 years; Derek has as stood by Danielle’s side tirelessly with endless love and care; they loved each other deeply.  Additionally, Danielle is survived by Derek’s daughter Alexia McFarland, 15 of Conway, NH; Danielle’s sister, Jennifer Banuskevich and husband Curtis of Duncan, South Carolina, nephew Andrew Banuskevich and wife Deanna of Lebanon, NH; niece, Meagan Banuskevich and partner Nick Demers of Peterborough, NH; niece, Kacey Hendrick and husband Danny of Hillsborough, NH;  great nephew Mason and great niece Rosalyn; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and last but not least, Danielle’s closest friends Peggy Chase, Erica Moreau, and Yvonne Westfall - just to name a few… Danielle will also be sorely missed by her cat Serenity and her dog, Connor.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday February 11, 2021 from 6pm – 8pm at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH.  Face coverings will be required and guests are asked to practice social distancing in accordance with CDC guidelines.   Guests will be asked to keep visits brief to allow for all who would like to participate to attend. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Danielle’s name to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
