Douglas R. Guy, Jr.

May 18, 1970 ~ July 15, 2023 (age 53) 53 Years Old

Obituary

Douglas R. Guy, Jr, age 53, of Temple, NH passed away suddenly in his home on July 15, 2023.  He was born in Fitchburg, MA on May 18, 1970.  He spent a few years of his childhood in Prince Edward Island, Canada and then later returned to NH, and never left.

Doug was someone you would never forget after you met him.  He was known for being the local mechanic and owned and operated “D.R.G Painting & Auto Body” up until his death.   His love for his family, and motorcycles ran deep in his veins. If he wasn’t home, he would be out on his bike, rain or shine.   He was an avid hunter, and he lived for every adventure life threw at him, good or bad, he always said, “just another day in paradise.”

Doug was a homebody and never seemed to stray far from the places he knew and loved. He was loyal to the people he loved until his last day. He was an incredible grandfather to his three granddaughters, who he loved more than life itself.  They took up every ounce of his heart.

He will be incredibly missed by those who loved and knew him.

Doug is survived by his daughter Hailey Guy of Troy NH, his son Devin Guy of Temple NH and his three granddaughters Rosalie, Colette, and Lennon Beal.   He was predeceased by his mother Dorothea F. Guy and his sister Shelley S. Guy.

Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared by the family.
