Jeanne Tartalis

Jeanne M. Tartalis, 83, of Francestown, NH, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband by her side on Sunday, January 23, 2022. 

Jeanne was born in Nashua, NH on September 10, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Yvonne Guill. She grew up in Nashua, and attended local Catholic schools, graduating from St. Louis High School.

Following high school, Jeanne was employed at Gregg and Sons Cabinets in Nashua, NH. Additionally, Jeanne worked for Ingersol-Rand Corporation in Nashua, where she served as a customer service representative.

Jeanne met the love of her life, Michael, a bit later in life, and they were soon married in Nashua in 1987. Following their marriage, they moved to their log cabin home in Francestown, NH. Jeanne was a homemaker, and she adored baking for her family and friends, especially during the holidays. She loved having her beautiful home full of family, laughter, and love.

In her later years, Jeanne adored traveling with Michael. Their most memorable vacations were to Canada and to Florida, where she loved spending time relaxing at the beach. During their travels, Jeanne’s favorite activity was to visit new seafood restaurants in search of the best lobster.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Michael of 34 years, her son, James R. Albee, of North Carolina, her grandchildren, Jacob Albuja of North Carolina and Jillian Albuja of Rhode Island, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Albuja, in 2017.

Services will be held privately for her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne’s name to Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services, 312 Marlboro Street, Keene NH 03431.
