Leonard Michael Jukins, 90, of Naples, FL passed away on September 15, 2023 in Naples, FL.
Len was born in Lawrence, MA to Michael and Natalie Jukins on January 16, 1933. He went to school in Lawrence and graduated from Boston College. He married Jacqueline Morin on June 15, 1957. He worked as a Financial Systems Director for GTE for 32 years. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1952 to 1955. Len was a member of St. Agnes, Roman Catholic Church in Naples, FL and enjoyed attending the traditional Latin mass in the Corpus Christi Chapel Apostolate.
Len was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. During his career as a Systems Analyst, he traveled to Europe often and especially loved his GTE “office” in Brussels, Belgium. In early retirement he golfed and enjoyed spending winters in Daytona with Jackie, his brother Dick and his wife, Joan, and his childhood friends. Later in retirement he became an avid fisherman who enjoyed time on the water in Antrim, NH with his family and friends. Len moved to Naples, FL in 2013.
Len is preceded in death by his wife Jackie and his son, Daniel.
Len is survived by his daughter Sharon (German Alvarado), his daughter Joanne Jukins, his daughter Cindy (Robert Hannon,) his son Paul, his son Timothy (Stephen Tannock), his grandchildren, Kimberly, Robert, Jeffrey, Christopher, Gregory, Kyle, Briana, Hannah, Max, Eliana and Giovanni and great grandchildren Emersyn and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Joan Jukins.
A memorial Mass will be held at Divine Mercy Parish, 12 Church Street, Peterborough, NH on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:00am. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00am-10:00am. He will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery in Antrim, NH.
