Marie Babcock

Marie T. Babcock, 93 of Peterborough, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2022.  She was born in Natick, MA on May 1, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Josephine (Devereaux) O’Neill. 

She was a graduate of Jerimiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester, MA.   She was a homemaker with a passion for antiques and was active in the restoration of oil paintings for many years.   A spiritual and devout Christian, she attended or listened to Mass daily, in addition to hosting weekly prayer and Rosary meetings in her home. 

In addition to her loving husband of 68 years, James Babcock, she is survived by her daughter Laraine Daley-Genova, her son Paul Babcock, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Pauline Crawford, and many nieces and nephews.   

An hour of visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00am at Divine Mercy Parish, 12 Church Street, Peterborough, NH.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am, followed by burial in St. Peters Cemetery, Peterborough.
