Mary Ann Sherk

Mary Ann Sherk (Chase, Canney ), 72, of Rochester, passed away at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough after a period of failing health, on October 30, 2018.   She was born in Rochester, NH on January 28, 1946 and was raised there by her parents Weymouth and Helen (Bickford) Canney.

Mary Ann attended Spaulding High School, Her career was in the restaurant industry. Her last job was managing an apartment complex. She was a Top selling Tupperware manager in the 70’s and 80’s.  Her passion and hobbies were wood crafts, board games, ceramic painting, breeding birds, roller skating , cooking, baking, gardening, entertaining friends with coffee hour,  listening to 50-60’s and country music,  and her favorite football team the Green Bay Packers.

Mary is survived by Daughter Melissa Henry (Chase), Son Harry Chase and their Children Andrew Chase, Aden Henry, Akennah Henry, Annekah Henry, and Alexis Chase. Brothers Johnny Canney, Robert Canney, and Sister Sharon Hall (Foster, Canney). Partner and best friend of four years James Delay.

Mary Ann will be joining not only her Parents but her late husband of 36 years Harry G. Chase II.

A Coffee hour in Celebration of Maryann’s life will be held on Sunday November 11, 2018 at 3:00pm at the Demers residence 261 Main Street Farmington NH. Graveside service will be held Tuesday November 13th 2:00 pm at the Rochester Cemetery on 17 Franklin Street Rochester NH.
