Obituary

Paula Book, age 68, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield on May 2, 2023, after a long struggle with myotonic dystrophy.  Paula was born in Newton, MA on July 17, 1954, the daughter of the late Edgar M. Randle, Jr., and the late Jean B. Randle.  She was a 1972 graduate of Mascenic Regional High School in New Ipswich, NH.  She spent most of her adult life in Tucson, Arizona, returning to New England to be closer to family approximately 10 years ago when her health began to decline more significantly.  She was kind and loving to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Paula was predeceased by her newborn son, Matthew Elliott, as well as her twin sister, Donna Mosher, and her youngest sister, Diane Stevens.  She is survived by her sister, Ellen Randle (and husband Chris Wood); her brothers-in-law, Rev. Charles Mosher (and wife Anita) and Mark Stevens (and wife Beth); her nephews, Aaron Mosher, Alexander Lamothe and Nicholas Lamothe; her nieces, Tana Leclair (and husband Josh) and Steph Lamothe, as well as her great-niece and great-nephew, Chloe Leclair and William Leclair.  

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at The Prospect Hill Cemetery in Mason, NH.
