Richard E. Cravedi

Richard (Dick) Emil Cravedi, 82, passed away peacefully on April 26th, 2023 at his RiverMead residence in Peterborough, NH.

Dick was born March 7th, 1941 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to Wilfred & Helen (Smith) Cravedi. He was a loyal graduate of Fitchburg High School, Class of 1958.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother John Cravedi. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Auger) Cravedi; their three daughters, Lisa, Cheryl & Nicole; brother James Cravedi; six grandchildren; Austin, Dylan, Brianna, Mia, Miggy & Finn, six great-grandchildren as well as numerous family members and life-long friends.

Dick enjoyed a long career in the Paper Industry retiring early from Monadnock Paper Mills to spend more time with his family, friends, and enjoying his many hobbies; woodworking, golfing, skiing and sailing to just name a few. “Mr. Fixit” could spend hours toying with something broken, challenging himself to fix it.  His sense of humor, smile and twinkling eyes always made you feel special. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends, often saying “we have a great family and many friends, we are so lucky”. He was a great father and friend to many and will be greatly missed.

At a later date the family will host a Celebration of Life.
