Stephen Michael Brooks

Stephen M. Brooks, 67, of Rindge, passed away at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness, on October 21, 2019.   He was born in Barre, VT on February 19, 1952 the son of Alden and Lorette (Baker) Brooks.

Stephen was raised in VT and moved to Keene as he began his career as a Master Electrician.   After having lived in Keene and Jaffrey for a time, he settled in Rindge in 1995.   He recently retired after having worked as a Master Electrician at Millipore in Jaffrey for more than 30 years. 

He was a lover of the outdoors, becoming a master gardener and landscaper, and looked forward to days spent with his OHRV Club, Little Monadnock Family Trails.   He was an avid Patriots fan and rarely missed a game. 

In addition to his wife of nearly 30 years, Heidi (Turner) Brooks of Rindge, he is survived by his brothers, Richard Brooks and Jeff Brooks, along with his wife Sandy, all of VT.  He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and especially his nephew Mark Belestra, and his children Connor, Chad and Logan of VT.   His bird “Teddy” will miss his daily chatter.

Stephen was predeceased by his son Kris Brooks and his siblings Beatrice, Barbara, Pete and Tim.
