Warren L. Stone

Warren L. Stone, 93 of Rindge, passed away on December 13, 2018 after a period of declining health.  He was born on July 10, 1925 in Ashland, MA,  the son of Frank and Edith (Potts) Stone.

Warren was the owner and operator of Meadowbrook Farm in Ashland, MA where for many years he delivered fresh eggs from door to door and was referred to as the “Egg Man”.   He also worked for the Towns of Ashland and Wayland, MA in the Public Works Department.   He retired to Rindge, NH in 1987.

Warren is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia (Miller) Stone of Rindge; his children David Stone and his wife Cynthia of Wales, MA, Daniel Stone and his wife Margaret of Wells, ME, Richard Stone and his wife Sharon of Cincinnati, OH, Andrea Murphy and her husband Robert of Holliston, MA, Alan Stone of Guam, Alisa Locascio of Kissimmee, FL, and Warren Stone, Jr., of Medway, MA; his step-sons Michael Miller and his wife Patricia of Ottawa, KS, Mathew Miller and his wife Mary Jo of Solomons, MD, and Michell Miller of Woonsocket, RI.  He will also be missed by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as his sister Shirley Grant of Hopkinton, MA.

He was predeceased by his first wife of 36 years, Evelyn T. (Robson) Stone; his siblings Olive Bernard, Leslie Stone, Mildred Turenne, Myron Stone, Melvin Stone, Doris Bushee, Grace Gebelein, and Carolyn Duseau; and his son-in-law Arthur Locascio.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.   Burial will be held in the Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland, MA and will be announced at a future time.   A celebration of Warren’s life will be held after the burial.
