Dear Cindy and Family,
I was deeply saddened to read of John's passing. John was a special Vocational Director at ConVal. He was an inspiration to all who worked with and for him; he embraced all that was good in education. I still use his "results planning" style. As friends, you and he hold a warm place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family that the love of family and friends will help you through this sad time and that your memories will bring you peace and comfort. If you still come to FL, please be in touch.

I graduated from John Faust University (as we affectionately called the Alternative IV Certification program) twenty years ago. I taught Culinary Arts for 12 years and have been the CTE Director in Portsmouth for 10 years. It is because of John I was able to earn my teaching license and go on to have a rewarding career in education. It is not uncommon for me to meet up with other JFU grads and reminisce about John and the impact he had on so many of us and consequently on the CTE students of New Hampshire. Thank you, John, you will be very much missed.

I'm a proud graduate of John Faust University! Under John's tutelage, I earned my NH teaching credential and went on to a career in education in Berlin, retiring 6 months ago. John was a good man, and my life was enriched by what he gave me.

My sincere condolences to his family and all those he leaves behind!

I just learned of John's passing. What a wonderful man and gifted educator. I had the opportunity to work with John nearly 25 years ago as an alternate certification candidate. His passion for Career and Technical education and meeting the needs of all students was something I will never forget. Even now, nearly a quarter of a century later (yikes!) the lessons he taught and wisdom he shared guides my teaching. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you remember and honor a man who truly made a difference in our world.

Cindy. I am so sorry to read that John had passed away. My sincere sympathy to you and the "kids". John was the best thing that happened to vocational education at ConVal. I smile as I remember all the fun times and laughs many years ago. So sorry..
