It's been one year, I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss. Mr. Seymour was/still is my favorite teacher, I had him for 6/7th grade. He noticed my anxiety before I did and he always pushed me to be a better version of myself, to not let it define me. He gave me a love for history, he helped me in math, he made sure I saw that I new the materiel, even when I thought I didn't. He taught me the first phrase I ever learned in ASL and I fell in love with the language. I am graduating soon from a school in Virginia and then I'm off to college for humanitarian studies minoring in ASL/deaf history to become an interpreter at schools, or possibly a social worker. Without Mr. Seymour, I wouldn't have the courage I do now to go after the careers I want. He may sadly be gone, but he never will be, in our hearts. So many people love him and it's a shame he was taken so soon. My love and support goes out to everyone in the family as well as all the coworkers and students he touched so honorably. He will never be forgotten.
